Weekly Email 36: Surprise! You're transferred!
BONJOUR!
Well transfer news is IN and I am OUT! That's right, after just 6 short weeks in Punaauia I got transferred to be STL in Pape'ete! Straight in mission headquarters and in Tahiti's capital! My new secteur is Fautaua 2! STL means Sister Training Leader, so me and my companion are over the sisters in the zone. I was super shocked to get the news, I didn't think I would be leaving Punaauia so soon and didn't think I would be STL this early in the mission! But I feel really good about it and I know it's what God wants for me! I am super excited about this new adventure. My new companion is Soeur Gandon from France! My first French companion! Our apartment is SUPER nice and really big, and I get AC still and a queen size bed! Also....I GET TO LIVE WITH SOEUR BREADY, my wonderful MTC companion!!!!!! We are both so pumped!!! This morning was the first time we'd seen each other since I left the MTC 7 months ago!
It was super sad being split up from my old district because we loved each other, we even called our Zone Leaders Mom and Dad. But the new zone and district seem really awesome! And there's a lot more French people which is cool, because I haven't crossed paths with many French people yet in the mission.
I was sad to leave Punaauia so soon, I really loved the amis and members. But I'm glad I got to spend 6 weeks there, it will always have a special place in my heart! I miss Soeur Siri but I know I'll see her soon, Pape'ete is only 20 min away by car from Punaauia luckily!
I just got to Pape'ete this morning so I haven't seen much yet, but I'll have more updates next week! I am so excited for this new adventure!!!!

Ebbene le novità riguardanti i trasferimenti sono arrivate e io sono PARTITA! Proprio così, dopo solo 6 brevi settimane a Punaauia sono stata trasferita per diventare STL a Pape'ete! Direttamente nei quartier generali della missione e nella capitale di Tahiti! La mia nuova zona è Fautaua 2! STL significa Sister Training Leader, così io e la mia collega supervisioniamo le Sorelle della zona. Sono rimasta completamente scioccata alla notizia, non pensavo che avrei lasciato Punaauia così presto e non credevo che sarei diventata STL così presto in missione! Ma mi sento molto bene a riguardo e so che è ciò che Dio vuole per me! Sono super emozionata per questa nuova avventura. La mia nuova collega è Sorella Gandon dalla Francia! La mia prima collega francese! Il nostro appartamento è BELLISSIMO e molto grande, e ho ancora l'aria condizionata e un letto matrimoniale! Inoltre... ABITERÒ CON SORELLA BREADY, la mia meravigliosa collega del MTC!!!!!! Siamo entrambe super gasate!!!! Stamattina è stata la prima volta che ci siamo riviste da quando ho lasciato il MTC 7 mesi fa!
È stato molto triste dover essere separata dal mio vecchio distretto perché ci vogliamo tutti molto bene, chiamavamo addirittura Mamma e Papà i nostri Capizona. Ma la nuova zona e il nuovo distretto sembrano davvero fantastici! E ci sono molti più francesi, il che è forte, perché non mi ero ancora incontrata con molti francesi in missione.
È stato triste lasciare Punaauia così presto, amavo davvero i simpatizzanti e i membri. Ma sono felice di aver potuto trascorrere 6 settimane lì, avrà sempre un posto speciale nel mio cuore! Mi manca Sorella Siri ma so che la rivedrò presto, Pape'ete è solo 20 minuti in macchina da Punaauia fortunatamente!
Sono appena arrivata a Pape'ete stamattina così non ho ancora visto abbastanza ma avrò più aggiornamenti la prossima settimana! Sono così emozionata per questa nuova avventura !!!!!
