Weekly Email 30: Transferred to TAHITI!

Well as you can see, I'm no longer on Huahine! We got transfer calls on Thursday, which was a surprise because it's usually Fridays. Also the APs actually never called us because they didn't have reception or something so I found out the news from other missionaries hahaha.
But I am now writing from my new sectuer! I'm in Punaruu, in the Punaauia Zone. My new companion is Soeur Siri, she's only been out six weeks so I'm finishing her training! She is super cute and I love her so much already! I know we're going to have so much fun this transfer!!
Leaving Huahine was super hard, I was there for almost six months! Saying goodbye is always really hard, especially when you don't know when you'll see all the people you've come to love so much again. I pretty much cried from Thursday until I left this morning. But I'm so grateful for the time spent there and for everything I learned and did! I loved it SO much.
But now I'm ready for a new adventure! Tahiti is way different from Huahine, so getting here has been crazy. There's so many people and cars and everything! haha but I love it! It reminds me a lot of Orange County in CA and that's one of my favorite places! I was so used to living on a little island that when I saw the grocery store here I freaked out. It's so big and has so many options!! And there's so many missionaries I love it!!! About 100 missionaries serve here on Tahiti and it's so fun seeing people, because on Huahine it was just me and my comp for 3 months and then us and 2 others the other three months. I've already seen like 20 missionaries in the past few hours which is so different from what I used to but so awesome!!
Also I'm now living in a house of 4! And my new secteur is all bike so goodbye car with air conditioning....haha
Well today was a whirlwind but I have had SO much fun already being back on Tahiti! I only spent one day here before going out to Huahine back in September. Sorry this email is so scatterbrained, we have a new rule that we can only write now for an hour and a half so looks like I will never have time to write from now on!

Bene, come potete vedere, non sono più a Huahine! Abbiamo avuto le telefonate dei trasferimenti giovedì, il che è stato una sorpresa perché solitamente arrivano di venerdì. Inoltre gli assistenti del presidente non ci hanno mai chiamato perché non avevavo ricezione o qualcosa di simile così ho saputo la notizia dagli altri missionari ahahah.
Ma ora sto scrivendo dalla mia nuova zona! Sono a Punaruu, nella zona di Punaauia. La mia nuova collega è Sorella Siri, è in missione solo da sei settimane così io finirò il suo addestramento! È molto carina e già le voglio bene! So che ci divertiremo un sacco questo trasferimento!!
Lasciare Huahine è stato difficilissimo, sono stata lì per quasi sei mesi! Partire è sempre difficile, specialmente quando non si sa quando si rivedranno le persone che si è imparato ad amare così tanto. In pratica ho pianto da giovedì fino a quando sono partita stamattina. Ma sono molto grata per il tempo trascorso lì e per tutto ciò che ho imparato e fatto! È stato COSÌ bello.
Ma ora sono pronta per una nuova avventura! Tahiti è molto diversa da Huahine, così venire qui è stato un po' pazzesco. Ci sono tante persone, macchine, di tutto! ahah ma mi piace! Mi ricorda molto Orange County in California e quello è uno dei miei posti preferiti! Mi sono così abituata a vivere su un'isola piccola che quando ho visto qui il supermercato sono impazzita. È così grande e ha tanta varietà di prodotti!! E ci sono tanti missionari, bellissimo!!! Circa 100 missionari servono qui a Tahiti ed è divertente vedere le persone, perché a Huahine eravamo solo io e la mia collega per tre mesi e poi noi e 2 altre missionarie per tre mesi. Ho già visto quasi 20 missionari in queste ultime ore il che è così diverso da quello a cui ero abituata ma così stupendo!!
Inoltre abito ora in una casa con quattro Sorelle! E la mia zona è tutta in bici così arrivederci macchina con l'aria condizionata...ahah
Ebbene oggi è stato un turbine ma mi sono già divertita TANTO da quando sono tornata a Tahiti! Ho trascorso solo un giorno qui prima di andare a Huahine lo scorso settembre. Mi spiace se questo email è così frammentario, abbiamo una nuova regola ora ed è che possiamo scrivere solo per un'ora e mezza così a quanto pare non avrò mai il tempo di scrivere d'ora in poi!
